After promoting this project by riding their bicycles from Jakarta to Denpasar (Bali), 1,344 km in 11 days in August 2020, Om Rob and Bibi Punky are on the road again.
They handed out 2500 bags with masks, COVID-19 hygiene sets, calendars with tips for a healthy life and a clean environment, and school supplies to Indonesian children.
The tour included Jakarta, Surabaya, East Java and West Bali; hotspots of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Our main goal with this project is to help ease the burden on Indonesian children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and at the same time educate them about the importance of maintaining health and also protecting the surrounding environment.
50,000 children have no or limited access to clean drinking water in East Sumba.
Om Rob turned 60. Now he runs from Jakarta to Denpasar, Bali.
1.433km in 18 days (2 marathons per day).
The purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the next project by Tupai Pandai. He and Bibi Punky will deliver 1 Million Liter of drinking water to East Sumba. A region that suffers from an extreme drought.
